Caleb Webb
Specialization as Athlete
1500m-10k on the track and I'm still looking to run cross country races when I can. I will also be transitioning to more road races this year.
Personal Records
3:40 in the 1500m, 4:01 in the mile, 13:46 in the 5k, and a NCAA Div I Cross Country All-American.
Specialization as Coach
I love coaching people of all different ages and levels, and I specifically love coaching athletes who are goal driven. I find as a coach that I can connect with an athlete better when I understand their goals and their motivations. When you have a clear goal, it makes the path to that goal clear. That doesn't mean that it will be easy, but overcoming difficult obstacles makes achieving one's goal that much sweeter!
College
University of Portland
Degree/Certifications
Bachelor's of Science with an emphasis on Kinesiology. I try to use my knowledge of anatomy and physiology, along with my years of running experience to find the best personalized plan for each specific athlete.
How did you start running?
I started running in high school to get in shape for basketball season. Running wasn't something I wanted to do initially, but once I taste of the sport, I quickly fell in love with it. There's nothing like the internal battle that running forces you to face. It's just you versus yourself and I love that!
Hobbies outside of running
When I'm not running, I spend most of my free time writing and working on my series of fiction novels.
