Specialization as a coach

How did you start competing in running and triathlons?
I started running as a junior in high school because my friends were doing it. But I didn't run year-round until my sophomore year of college when I decided to give triathlon a go. Prior to that, I identified purely as a swimmer. The start of my running "career" was rocky because I made some silly mistakes that now make me cringe to think about!
Tell us an interesting fact/something fun about you?
I sing in a small folk band called "The Briar Rose Ramblers" and my husband and I are expecting our first baby in July 2021.
